About dust mop cleaning
|
Dust Mops or dry mops are used to pick up loose soil on the floor. For example, cigarette butts, paper, sand, dirt and dust can all be collected with a dust mop.
One key issue surrounding dust mops is the use of a chemical treatment to aid the soil removal process. When used properly, dust control treatments are effective at picking up and holding in the mop many of the common loose soils detailed above.
A note of caution: be careful when using dust mop treatments. Not following proper manufacturer’s procedures can result in improper application. For example, over applying treatment can make floors slippery and dull.
